Course structure
The full-day course is divided into six days over two consecutive weeks (usually Friday – Sunday), from 9.00 to 18.00 each day, with an hour’s lunch break. The evening courses take place over 14 evenings from 17.30-21.30, on the same day each week.
Both the training and the exam are in English.
Terms of enrolment
The prerequisite for attending this course is a WSET Level 2 qualification or equivalent demonstrable knowledge. If the applicant wishes to take part in wine tasting, he/she must be 18 years of age at the start of the course. However, anyone under this age or anyone who is unable to consume alcohol for health, religious or other reasons may also attend the course and take the theory exam. However, as tasting is an integral part of the exam, they will only receive a certificate for the theory exam.
Further details can be found in English on the WSET website as well as in the WSET Level 3 specification.
